The city of Pinellas Park, best known for its equestrian facilities and events, is located in one of the most densely populated districts in the state of Florida with a population of about 1.5 million.
Although technically sealed off, the border is between Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg, Fla., a city of about 1.5 million people. Archaeologists now realize that the site on Weedon Island is located far in the heartland of the Weeden Island Culture and is probably the site of a late Manasota culture associated with Weeda Island. Humanity as a whole evolved in the Middle to Late Bronze Age, with a focus on the development of agriculture, fishing and hunting.

The Pinellas Park Arts Society organizes monthly thematic competitions with a focus on art, music, poetry, dance and other arts and crafts.
Florida CraftArt is located in the Arts Center of the Pinellas Park Arts Society at the corner of South Main Street and East Pinello Avenue. The programme of the exhibition includes an exhibition "Keep Lighting the Night" and a live music performance. The annual Pinelli Arts Festival, a festival of the arts lasting several days, takes place every second Saturday of the month from June to October.
